KDP spells out what AI-generated means for coloring books
Amazon's own wording draws the disclosure line at who made the content, not how much you edited it after.

Here's the trap in plain terms: generate 40 pages, redraw every wonky hand, clean up every line — KDP still calls that AI-generated, full stop. Your editing effort doesn't move a book from one column to the other, and that catches a lot of coloring-book makers who think "I fixed it myself" means something it doesn't. Disclosure doesn't clear you on ownership either — a disclosed AI page of a famous character is still, in KDP's words, someone else's character, and you're the one responsible for checking IP compliance before you hit publish.
Why it matters to you: If you're building AI coloring books for KDP, you must disclose AI-generated pages and covers, you're capped at two new titles per format per week, and the low-content shortcut generally doesn't apply to you.
