Amazon brings Ask This Book to Kindle e-readers
The update, Kindle Software Update 5.20.2, is around 643 MB, one of the largest firmware files Amazon has released to date.

Amazon's Kindle Software Update 5.20.2 brings the "Ask This Book" feature directly to Kindle e-readers, according to Good e-Reader. The feature works as an interactive, built-in reading companion, letting readers query the text, generate summaries, or ask specific questions about characters and plot points without risking outside spoilers, the outlet reported.
Good e-Reader noted the update is one of the largest firmware installation files Amazon has released to date, at around 643 MB in size.
Readers can access the feature by opening the in-book menu or by highlighting a specific passage or word within the text, according to the report. It then provides a list of suggested questions, or readers can type their own custom question and ask follow-ups.
This is Amazon putting a query box right inside your book, letting readers ask questions about plot and characters without hunting for spoilers. It's a feature, not a scandal, and I'm not going to pretend otherwise. But a 643 MB firmware push tells you this isn't a minor tweak, and it's worth understanding what it actually does before readers start asking your book questions you've never been asked yourself.
