Riveted Press exits Simon & Schuster distribution in Australia
The switch takes effect Saturday, 31 October 2026, with return deadlines running into early 2027.
Books+Publishing reported that effective Saturday, 31 October 2026, Riveted Press will no longer be distributed by Simon & Schuster Australia.
According to the outlet, all return authorisation requests must be received at Harper Entertainment Distribution Services (HEDS) by COB 31 December 2026, and physical returns must be received at HEDS by COB 31 January 2027.
The outlet reported that any returns physically received after that date, or received without a return authorisation, will be rejected and returned to customers at their expense.
Two deadlines, one window to get it right. Miss the return authorisation cutoff of 31 December 2026 or the physical returns cutoff of 31 January 2027, and the stock comes back to you at your own expense, not the distributor's. That's the kind of detail that gets buried in a distribution notice and then becomes an invoice nobody expected.
