Authors pull Palestinian history book from Random House over edits
Rights reverted after termination papers were signed in September, and the book resurfaces in 2027 at indie press Interlink

Here's the spine of it: two authors said no, and no held. Random House added a line calling October 7 a "violation of international law," reshuffled chapters, and the authors said that wasn't the book they wrote. Months of back-and-forth, a list of compromises offered, none accepted — so they walked, signed the termination papers, and took the book to a publisher who wanted it as written. That's the whole story, and it's worth sitting with.
